“Anyone who’s spent time with me at a wedding knows I’m a big wedding DJ snob — I pick apart the song choices, the transitions, the timing. I sigh when the DJ isn’t reading the room, or when he’s just letting an iTunes playlist run with the crossfade option turned way up. So when it came to our own wedding, it was really important we found someone who was willing to work with all my particularities while also bringing their own identity and style to the party. We found all that and then some in Chris (aka DJ Coz) — he was so easy to work with, absolutely in tune with all our tastes and preferences, and brought a lot of excellent expertise to both the logistical and creative aspects of the job. “We not only rescheduled our wedding a few times but ended up planning our small garden wedding in a matter of a few weeks! Given the last minute planning, we scrambled to find vendors, and thankfully were introduced to Chris through a mutual friend. And let me tell you we were SO glad that did. Chris made our wedding experience so much more put together and thoughtful than we had expected. He blew us away, and exceeded our expectations! He covered all bases – through handling the set up with all the equipment in outdoor settings, he guided us through technical logistics and gave us tips from the ceremony to cocktail hour to reception to the speeches and to late night dancing! He took initiative to take over the minute details – like MCing the whole evening without us asking, that everyone in the crowd was able to hear the ceremony outdoors, making sure each speech was timed at the right moment and each individual was properly introduced, that the cocktail hour and reception were paired well with the timing of food service, and most importantly, that the mix of the crowd was vibing with the music throughout the evening – from traditional Polish music, to jazz and bossa nova, to more classic american, to R&B/Hip Hop and to dance music. No one was able to tell that we met only a few weeks prior to the wedding day and everyone commented on how the vibe of the music was perfect the whole evening! We would definitely hire Chris again if we throw a follow up party!”

“My wife Lorena, and I loved working with Chris. Very professional, organized and creative. We had to replan our wedding in a matter of months due to Covid. We went from a large wedding with a full band to 45 people and ran with a small cocktail band and a DJ for dances and post dinner festivities. The turnaround time was short, Chris wasn’t worried. He had us compile our favorite songs in a playlist and he took it from there. From this he got a strong understanding of our tastes and put that to practice. I was concerned what a dance floor would look like at a small wedding, smaller pool of people – less people dancing I thought. “Having Chris Costello DJ our wedding surpassed all of our expectations. He was so wonderful to work through the entire process. Our biggest goal for our reception was that the dance floor would be packed all night and it was! All of the different generations danced the night away.
